Jordan Pond is a "6 peak loop" around Jordan pond in Acadia park, Maine. However, almost every review says to just skip the 6th peak since it's short and has basically no good views so that's exactly what we did. The other 5 peaks are a gorgeous east coast hike with a lot of ups and downs on some good soft mulch. Each peak gives a great view of the Atlantic, especially during sun rise if you can get there in time.

The story

After a… successful?… backpacking trip along the Semi-Pemi loop, we traveled east and explored New Hampshire and eventually ended up in Acadia Maine. We stayed at a "glamping" site with massive tents and private fire pits where we could air out our backpacking gear. While there we explored the island, ate lots of lobster, and made sure to hike at least a little bit. We decided to do the "6 peak" day hike around Jordan pond which allowed us to see a lot of what Acadia had to offer. Along the hike Richard sustained his one and only hiking injury by watching a squirrel while continuing to walk and eventually getting stabbed in the shoulder by a branch then tripping on a root and falling down a near-flat decline. Abby gave him a bandaid and made fun of him the appropriate amount before continuing onward.
